Production Shift Manager - Fleet

The primary function of this role is to deliver the production schedule and facilitate continuous improvement.

The successful person will be responsible for the line managers, operators, utility operators and temporary staff. You will be in charge of the production costs including labour and wastage and ensuring that LEAN is actively promoted and communicated clearly and effectively.

National Account Executive - Dendron

Due to a recent promotion of one of our team we have a fantastic opportunity for a National Account Executive to join us.

Working within Pharmaceutical we are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step taking full responsibility for our famous brand-named accounts.

You will be working with Grocers that are ranked within the top four of their industry, managing trade promotions from planning to delivery and managing a large portfolio of Business to Retail and Business to Business accounts.

This is a home based position but working from the Head Office in Watford one day a week and attending meetings when required.

Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs Co-Ordinator - Fleet

We now have an opportunity for a Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs Co-Ordinator to be the primary point of contact for DDD Ltd.’s Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs operations.

The successful applicant will co-ordinate cross functionally across the business to remain compliant with Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance legal requirements and will support the quality team by maintaining up to date license and pharmacovigilance files to support batch release.

 

Regulatory Responsibilities

·        Maintain and update all pharmaceutical manufacturing product licenses for all contract and own brand products.

·        Recommends changes to SPC’s, PILs to accommodate highlighted safety issues.

·        Recommends changes to licenses in order to comply with regulations and improve on product safety.

·        Support the maintenance of the Product Technical Files for own brand medical devices.

·        Communicate and liaise with the MHRA and Regulatory Authorities as required.

·        Respond to RFI’s from Competent Authorities fully and promptly

·        Prepare, submit and maintain marketing authorisation applications

·        Maintain an overview of the regulatory export market

·        Maintain manufacturer/importer and wholesale dealer’s licenses.

·        Ensure compliance with legislation and any new regulatory requirements

·        Act as primary point of contact for Competent Authorities on a 24 hour basis.

Skills Required

·        Educated to degree level (or similar) in a life science subject.

·        Member of TOPRA

·        Pharmaceutical EU GMP Reg Affairs experience, experienced in licence and eCTD submissions across a variety of dosage  forms.

·        Pharmacovigilance experience

·        Good level of written and spoken English

·        Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Outlook) and databases.

·        Strong Interpersonal skills to enable good customer/employee relations.

·        Naturally driven, proactive to support continuous improvement

Head of Engineering - Fleet

We currently have an opportunity for a Head of Engineering to join our fantastic team.

The Head of Engineering will be a lead engineer to the team, providing management and direction, coaching and mentoring to drive high standards and continuous improvement culture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Resolving engineering issues with tight timescales and deadlines to ensure production downtime is minimised

• Maintain assets to high standards through an effective planned preventative maintenance system

Maintain Statutory Compliance through-out all sites.

Undertake Lean Management and cost reduction programme reviews.

Resource planning and management against deliverables.

Carry out performance audits for all reports.

Present monthly performance and P & L reports to the Group Operations Director.

Presenting financial Projections supporting all Project and Production line machinery up-grade works to the Group Operations Director.

• Dealing with contracts and selection of engineering suppliers

• Plan, implement and review engineering projects aligned to business objectives and meeting both current and future business needs

• Managing Health and Safety, ensuring compliance and driving high standards at all times

• Ensure all site services are appropriately maintained and fit for purpose in line with business requirements

 

The Head of Engineering will have recognised Mechanical/Engineering qualifications to degree or Chief Engineer level as well as Health & Safety and Management qualifications. Previous experience within manufacturing environment is needed with excellent coaching, leadership and people management skills.

Marketing Admin Assistant

The Marketing department is the central function within Dendron and provides information and support across the whole business.

The position will work across some of our key brands; Ibuleve, Bazuka, Iglu, Adios, Colodex and several new brands we’re working on, under the supervision of one Brand Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate, hold a relevant qualification or has some experience in Marketing and have strong administrative skills and a passion for learning more about the world of marketing.

Temporary Lab Technician

 

Trinity Scientific part of DDD Limited is an Analytical contract and testing laboratory, we are currently recruiting for a temporary Lab Technician.

 

General Task will include:

·        Perform analytical testing in an accurate, timely and efficient manner, consistent with cGMP requirements. Testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products using current pharmacopoeia, customer and internal methods as required.

·        Ensure documentation is accurate, legible and presented clearly and concisely, consistent with cGMP requirements.

·        Document all activities associated with cGMP compliance and internal procedures. These include, but are not limited to, instrument calibration and maintenance, method protocol and report, out of specification (OOS) investigations and deviation reports.

·        Use of the company’s LIMS system for the purposes of QC testing.

·        Ensure Lab waste is controlled in and out of the cages

·        Ensure stability samples are pulled

·        Responsible for site waste.

There is a potential for the position to become permanent.

Head of Supply Chain

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a background in manufacturing.


This role will mainly be responsible for managing all related functions including materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing.

Essential Functions:

·        Define supply chain strategy for the business and achieve year on year budgeted improvements in material cost productivity

·        Manage the current supplier base and build operational relationships with new suppliers

·        Maintain and improve operational efficiency level through on time stock availability

·        Oversee stock control, planning, purchasing and organising incoming goods

·        Direct management of supply chain and planning team

·        Experience within a lean manufacturing environment

·        Ownership of the supply response to the demand forecast of the Sales & Operations Planning process.

·        Monitor vendor performance regarding product quality, on-time delivery and conformance with commercial terms

·        Work closely with external suppliers to deliver cost reduction, quality and delivery improvements

·        Ensure warehousing and logistics processes are aligned in the supply chain to meet customer expectations including the goods inwards management process and the management of the delivery fleet

Experience Required:

·        We are looking for a hands on manager with significant man management experience

·        Excellent empathy skills, training skills and approachable in regards to explaining and delivering the importance of supply chain

·        Candidates must have implemented a strategy

·        Experience of ERP/MRP or related product specific forecasting in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

·        Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems

·        Practical experience in the application of continuous improvement techniques in a manufacturing environment

·        End to end Supply Chain understanding

Assistant Product Manager - Fleet

Development Technician - Fleet

You will be responsible for:

  • The calibration of equipment
  • The preparation and manufacture of lab batches
  • The testing of products
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory
  • The positing of samples
  • The ordering and replenishment of lab consumables.
  • General laboratory work and all other tasks as seen fit by the development Chemist/ Packaging Technologist

 SCOPE OF THE JOB
