Production Operatives

Fleet Laboratories Ltd is an experienced manufacturer of a wide range of toiletry products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. We ensure an understanding of our customer's businesses to whom we offer a wide range of services, including formulation development, material purchasing, manufacture and analysis.
As part of the DDD group of companies, we work with a diverse range of customers, building relationships some of which have lasted over 30 years.

We currently have a number of opportunities for Production Operators to join our busy team.

Majority of positions are shift work, 05:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 although we do have a few static shifts available. Training will be given.

Salary is £16,313 with an additional shift allowance of £2,707 for shift workers and overtime will be available.

Sales Account Manager (12 month fixed term contract)

We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales Account Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave.  The ideal person will be familiar with the UK retail market ideally within Health and Beauty and has the ability to build relationships. 

The successful candidate will manage key accounts for well know high street names and conduct customer reviews by attending client meetings to help grow sales and deliver success.

IT Service Desk Analyst

DDD Limited comprises of a group of companies which offer a flexible, complete service to take a health and beauty product from idea to a consumer’s shopping basket.

 

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a customer focussed IT Service Desk Analyst, acting as the first point of contact for approximately 300 end users based at 4 different sites locally. You will be ensuring high quality, timely management of incident, problem, and service request tickets from initial opening to final closure.


You will be providing technical support - troubleshooting of IT incidents and problems from software to hardware (e.g. laptops, desktops, printing, mobile phones), escalating more complex issues whilst continuing to update the end-user.

 

Liaising with internal and external customers, you will need first class customer service skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to work under your own initiative.


The ideal person will have a hunger to learn new systems, and have proven experience of Windows and Microsoft Office; any exposure to asset management, or hardware builds would be an advantage.

 

They will also possess excellent communication skills, great organisational skills, have a strong attention to detail and be proactive.

Dispensary Operator

Dispensary Operator required to carry out raw material collating and dispensing activities to meet customer requirements whilst complying with cGMP and company standards. The Dispensary Operator will ensure all activities associated with the dispensing function are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

This position reports to the Dispensary supervisor and hours of work will be Monday to Friday 5.30am to 1.30pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out the picking of batch raw materials from the Chemicals warehouse.
  • Complete the accurate dispensing and collating of raw materials to meet internal customer demand
  • Carry out Dispensary batch change cleaning activities in line with cGMP standards.
  • Carry out inventory management activities to ensure records meet commercial and compliance standards.
  • Focus on short term scheduling with a two-week window.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Reach and Counterbalance forklift truck license
  • Good IT skills
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Experience of working in a cGMP environment.

Brand Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual with strong bias for action who is looking for a big challenge and significant responsibility. This individual will be able to set the vision and pace of achievement for innovation and business development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in landing the new strategy and 5 year innovation pipeline on a well known brand, helping to achieve short and long-term business targets. They will also support on other brands and the creation of new brands; building the initial concepts and preparing the brand ready to launch.

Role and Responsibilities

-         Creation of new brand identities and execution plan for roll out into the market.

-         Full ownership of Profit and Loss (P&L) and the delivery of the annual plan;

-         Ongoing management & implementation of the media activity, in store execution (inc. Shopper Marketing) and internal alignment            to support the annual plan;

-         Continuous development & roll out of an innovation roadmap;

-         Ongoing review of market trends, alongside the Dendron Insights Manager and Fleet Product Manager to identify opportunities              for new brands and then to scope out the size of prize;

Essential Requirements

-         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

-         Previous experience in a marketing operations role with P&L responsibility.

-         A balance of strategic, analytical and creative skills.

-         Project leadership and experience with strategy development with successful results.

-         Analytic capability to help lead business case, address business issues and opportunities and make strategic recommendations.

-         Understanding of digital and social media.

Preferred Skills

-         Experience working on a new brand to market or creating a new brand.

-         Strong track record of leading multi-functional teams, including direct work with RnD.

-         Experience of selecting, managing and reviewing agencies.

-         Experience working in the Health & Beauty industry.

-         Proven record of drive and initiative with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

-         Previous experience working within a large FMCG business

Management Accountant

DDD Limited is an experienced manufacturer of a wide range of toiletry products, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. They ensure an understanding of their customer's businesses to whom they offer a wide range of services, including formulation development, material purchasing, manufacture, and analysis.

As one of our Management Accountants, you'll be responsible for the financial reporting (actual, forecast and budget), analysis and support of three business units/divisions. You'll provide clean reconciliations of allocated balance sheet accounts monthly and assist in the development of the finance systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

Production of monthly Management Accounts

  • Ensure P&L balances are accurate and reconcile to supporting analytical databases (eg sales, gross margin etc.)
  • Ensure fees from distribution sales are accurately calculated and recorded
  • Processing of standard monthly journals, eg payroll, credit card expenses, etc
  • Calculation and entry of accruals and prepayments and reconciliation to general ledger balances

Balance Sheet integrity

  • Ensure debtor balances accurately reconcile for all divisions
  • Reconciliation of the creditor's balance
  • Maintenance of the fixed assets register and reconciliation to the general ledger

Reporting and financial analysis

  • Preparation of divisional P&Ls and supporting information
  • Preparation of supporting information for the Group’s monthly Business Review
  • Preparation of reports for related entities (eg Blistex)
  • Ad hoc analysis

Budgeting and forecasting

  • Responsibility for budgetary control of allocated areas of the Group

What you'll need to succeed:

  • CIMA qualified
  • Experience in preparing divisional results, forecasts and budgets
  • Experience in maintaining a fixed asset register, accruals and prepayments
  • Previous experience in a manual environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Self-motivated, well organised.

Warehouse Supervisor

As part of the DDD group of companies, we work with a diverse range of customers, building relationships some of which have lasted over 30 years.

We are currently looking for a self motivated Warehouse Supervisor with a current Fork Lift Truck License and a Class 2 license for 18 tonne lorry to join our busy team.

Main Responsibilities

·       Efficient Management of the day to day Warehouse Operation & drive performance against team KPI’s.

·       Effective Management of resource planning to complete all activities proficiently & accurately.

·       Ensure all reporting is compiled and completed to exacting standards as set out by the Group Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

·       Maintain excellent internal & external customer service.

·       Day to day liaison with external suppliers & contractors.

·       To adhere to all SOPs and identify any gaps/changes in the current processes and assist with development of new SOPs.

·       Management of Health & Safety in the workplace, including safety, equipment, PPE.

·       Control of Fork Lift Truck management to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets.

·       Develop self & support others through the sharing of expertise & knowledge in department & or internal department. Train staff to exacting standards in all traits of warehousing function.

·       Establish Strong work relationships across shift(s) with counterparts, share knowledge, hold formal handovers.
