The DDD Group is Watford’s largest private employer, with around 250 members of staff. Some 150 are office and
sales staff, with the remainder working in our two manufacturing plants.

People are the heart of our organisation and we go all out to look after them:
  • We have self-managing teams at a number of levels in the company, one of which even decides its own pay rises
  • We publish the minutes of senior self-managing teams to all members of the company
  • Wherever feasible, we allow employees to set their own working hours

  • Our offices are comfortable and modern
  • We offer employees health, pension and savings schemes
  • Our staff turnover is below 10%, which we are very proud of

    Training and development is vital. It keeps business fresh, buoyant and efficient, and gives employees the confidence
    and opportunity to thrive.

    We support our employees by:
  • Encouraging them to attend training courses, seminars and study programmes to extend their skills and knowledge
  • Giving them development support to ensure they are able to achieve the highest possible standards in their jobs
  • Providing training for increased responsibility and promotion to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Ensuring adequate training to fit with technological change or innovation
